Vigilance Awareness Week begins in HAL

    Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on Monday kick-started the Vigilance Awareness Week and took a pledge to stay alert in its efforts to wipe out the evils of corruption.

     The Awareness Week, conducted as per the guidelines of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), saw Mr M. Fakruddin, Director (Corporate Planning and Marketing), HAL, stressing the need to stay focussed while executing day-to-day work.

     “Tools like e-commerce and the Right to Information Act have enabled better transparency in our work places. The corrupt should be dealt with severely to set an example. The best way to root out corruption is to create an awareness across all sections of society, “ he said.

     Mr N.K. Palta, Executive Director, Customer Services, and other senior officials of HAL also spoke on the occasion. A series of programmes have been lined up as part of the week.
