What are the things required while filling the application online?

Before filling the application form the candidate must ensure that the Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- (where ever applicable) is ready along with all the required details like (Date of Birth, Marks Details and other Personal Details). The candidate should also possess a valid email id.

 

Are Management Trainee openings available in all Engineering branches?

Management trainee positions are available against all the seven advertised branches of engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science and Metallurgy)

 

Can a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)/ MCA (Master of Computer Applications)/ B. Sc (Computer Science) graduate apply for the position of Management Trainee/Design Trainee?

No. Only candidates with Bachelors degree in Engineering are eligible to apply.

 

How will the aggregate percentage of marks be calculated in the qualifying examination?

The maximum marks obtained for all the semesters/years and the marks obtained for all the semesters/years will be summed up for arriving at the average percentage.    

 

Can the marks (aggregate) be rounded off to the next whole number?

No. The percentage of marks cannot be rounded off.

 

Will any weightage be assigned to any particular semester for arriving at the aggregate?

No. The total marks obtained for all the semesters/years will be summed up objectively for arriving at the aggregate.

 

Can I change my preference of location or the preference of language opted for the written examination?

No. The preferences once opted cannot be changed.  

 

I am continuously facing some errors while applying ONLINE which prevents me from completing the application. What can I do?

Be sure you are using Internet Explorer 6 and above.

 

Can I mail or fax a paper copy of the application form?

No. Only online applications will be accepted. No other form of applications will be considered.

 

Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of whom?

Demand Draft amounting Rs. 200/- should be drawn in favor of ‘Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd’ payable at Bangalore. The same should be sent to the Office of:

Chief Manager

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited

Corporate Office

15/1, Cubbon Road

Bangalore – 560001

on or before 19/05/2007, with your name and application number legibly written behind the demand draft. 

 

Do I have to send any documents along with the Demand Draft?

No documents should be sent along with the demand draft.

 

How do I know the status of my application?

After submitting the application successfully the system will generate the “application confirmation” message. Further a confirmation mail will be sent to the email id of the candidate recorded in the application form.

 

What details should be kept as record for future reference/correspondence?

Email id used for the application and the application number generated after submitting the application online needs to be kept as a record for future reference /correspondence.  

 

How would I come to know if there are any changes in the      schedule of selection process?

Any changes in the selection process schedule will be posted on HAL website (www.hal-india.com). You are advised to visit our website on a regular basis.
