Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, a leading Defence Public Sector Undertaking has yet again received the “Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) Southern Region Top Exporters Trophy & Award” for the year 2003-04. The Award/Trophy is instituted by the EEPC, India for outstanding export performance every year to recognize and honour the exporters who have achieved distinction.  HAL has been the Top Exporter in the category of “Exporter of Engineering Consultancy, Technical Know-how & Other Engineering Services” in Southern Region for more than a decade.  

     Shri Ashok K Baweja, Chairman HAL has received the award from Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka Shri TN Chaturvedi, on Mar 01, at Bangalore.  The stellar export performance during 2003-04 amounting to Rs 215.35 crores was due to a concerted drive by HAL to enhance export. 

     HAL is being approached by leading international aerospace companies for setting up of JVs and for other strategic alliances, keeping in view the excellent facilities, advanced technology and skilled manpower available at HAL.
